In May 2012, ACCLAIMED PRODUCTION partnered with Missing Link Conference Company to provide a full event production solution for the UK School Games opening event. The welcome dinner for 1800 elite young athletes took place in Capital Hall at ExCel, Docklands, London.

From initial concept, design and specification through to implementation and final look, ACCLAIMED PRODUCTION worked directly with the end client on Missing Link's behalf to provide a complete event production solution. This included dynamic, creative room lighting utilising some 30 moving lights to bring colour, movement and texture to the entire room with beams being able to be seen through the theatrical haze. An accurate sound design utilising d&b audiotechnik Q series speaker system was implemented to enable everyone to hear the presentation. Three large screens were flown with Barco projection and switching solution. These screens displayed live Twitter feeds, video clips, photographs of teams as well as an engineered two camera IMAG mix to assist eveyone in seeing the on stage activity featuring Jeremy Hunt MP and Lord Sebastian Coe among others. Staging and power solutions were also devised and provided along with a high impact stage backdrop utilising 26 LED fixtures. A start/finish style entrance way was created for the guests to walk through into the room.

The whole solution was brought together, from initial design to on-the-day managment by ACCLAIMED PRODUCTION, providing the end client with a tightly integrated, synergistic event production solution.
